Well I didn't think I would do a run this weekend but "The Christmas Family walk" from Wigan Rugby Union Club looks just the business. As it has rained for some part of every day for a fortnight it should just be a quagmire.
It's only 14 miles and a cutoff time of 6 hours. Runners and Walkers both start at 10 am. Hopefully get round in less than 3 Hours. No
big hills and organised by South Lancs so it should be a good one. Great chance to get lost in a brand new place. Hopefully the young master will come with me - says he's not fit. An unfit 21 year old who runs 3 to 4 times a week yeah right!
